JUST INSTALLED BUSCHUR STAGE 1 W/flash having a problem with boost being set properly to 24 psi 93 oct.in first gear geting 22psi 2 nd gear if 1 floor it getting 23 psi then tapers,4 gear 4000 rpm floor it 24 psi same goes for 5th gear and 6th is normal.

You'll get a little fluctuation here and there. Its nothing to be alarmed about, thats the mbc spiking a little.


Best bet is the log the car to make sure you're not knocking.

Nope... Typically you want to set boost in 3rd gear on 5 spd cars and 4th gear on 6spd cars.

how much boost can i run with 93 oct and can you tell if knock is occuring if not on dyno but just by listening to the motor.

The amount of boost all depends how the car was tuned. I would call Buschur to see what they recommend, running alot of boost doesn't always mean the most power...


Only time you'll hear knock is when its a pretty high amount that could damage the motor. With a tactrix cable and Evoscan you can log the car to see exactly what its doing. Just find out what boost they want you to run and I'm sure youll be fine.

The car will boost higher, depending on the rpm and load. As load increases with higher gears, the boost will follow.

4ws tunning , its not a buschur mail in flash its a custom flash.when the tunner maxed out the mods on the car it was set at 24psi no knock.at 21 psi it didnt make as much power that it did on 24psi,made alot of whp,and tq.
