Experience at TTP
Experience at TTP
Hey Southeast (and anyone else that reads this thread),
Just wanted to share my experience in Orlando.
Im in the Air Force stationed at Moody AFB, and was in desperate need of having my car tuned. Being a military member and military minded, and the pure excitement, I decided to get up early (about 5am) and drive down to Orlando. Getting there super early gave me plenty of time to explore a bit and check out the sights. Straight out the gate I see beautiful cars and women so I knew then I drove to heaven. Anyways, I ended up meeting Eddie at his pizza place, and being a car lover, it was like meeting my favorite movie star. I had a blast talking with him and taking in useful advice about the EVO. FOR THAT EDDIE---THANK YOU!
Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the car but maybe next time.
After visiting with Eddie, off to TTP I went. With my Tomtom leading the way, I pass at least 5 EVO's in 15 minutes. (I wish I had someone with me to record the drive) Scott and his crew at TTP are some cool a$$ *****'s. They kept me in the loop on what was being done to my car, gave advice, and shared stories. I also met a few good people that came to visit the shop. It was an overall cool environment to hang out in. If I lived here thats probably what I'd do all weekend. The time came to put my baby on the dyno and that was the icing on the cake for me. Scott came out and worked his magic and really woke my car up. After all the parts I threw at it before I got tuned, I thought she ran hard but didn't see the full potential till the tune was completed. I swear I looked like
driving home.
Sorry if I sound like a groupie or something but being in Orlando and meeting EVO owners, shop owners, and magazine cover regulars was off the chain for me.
THANKS FOR THE EXPERIENCE ORLANDO!
I'll be back to see you again.

When I get home and look at the sheets I'll post the before resuults. I know the HP cause I ended up with a 116hp gain when we were done tuning so original hp was 223./ Can't remember the Q

Unfortunately I didn't make it to the track last friday. It rained and they shut it down. The car runs like a raped ape. I tried my first launch and nailed it. Took the wife and launched it with her to show her what it feels like and she loved it. To make a long story short...the car feels so good that my racing confidence has shot way up. I knew it was decent before Scotts work, but now that he did tune it, Im ready to race anything now. I may not win against some cars...but I'll give them a hell of a run.
Scott although I only met him at the meet here in J-ville is an up front straight shooter and I would have him work on my car if I or tigeron could not do it who by the way is also a straight shooter.
I am impressed with the Evo community with all of the tech help and upgrade advice that is given so freely. Where I come from they tend to hide there secrets.

Lmao, nice. We should all stop and bow down towards downtown at least once a day. I know my religion is the Evolution.
Scott is awesome. Great shop, a wealthful vast pool of very knowledable information. He will expain the reasoning behind his thinking in a logical way. Very helpful to an Evo owner and very anti-drama kind of guy.
I won't take my car to any other shop.
Look forward to the update Groovy. I can't wait to get tuned in the next few weeks myself. From what others have said, the car is a hell of a lot different beast leaving the shop than it was before coming into be tuned.

Very cute Scott !
Ya Scott helped me with my transition from Dsm's to Evo's, but I do recall working on his Yellow banana boat 2g bout 8+ years ago when he was a newbie to them so it all comes around in this big 4G63 world!!
