Finally, Dyno Numbers!

It's been a while since I've had the evo on the dyno with it running properly, but yesterday it finally worked out. The day before I had my doubts, as of course I blew open a massive 2" hose in my hose connecting my bov to my UICP and the car ran like crap.

I spent some good time on the street with my laptop and LC-1 getting stuff dialed in so as to minimize the headaches on shane, but really I probably only made things worse Shane is an amazing tuner, I would recommend taking your evo or any other car to DB PERFORMANCE in Rogers, MN to get it tuned. If you live anywhere near MN, he is worth the drive!

Anyways, mod list (power stuff only, of course):

Buschur Racing 3" TBE w/ bullet testpipe
Buschur Racing Intake kit
BR Deluxe FMIC kit (3.5" core)
BR Upper IC Pipe
OEM IX BOV
HKS 280 cams
ARP headstuds
BR Ported/Coated Exhaust Mani
Ported Turbine Housing
OEM Evo IX turbo
BR SS O2 Housing
BR Ported Intake Manifold w/ EGR delete
BR 65MM TB
Walbro 255HP fuel pump
4x Kracka Vent setup w/ ebay catch-can
Aquamist HFS-1 Alky Injection Kit
FIC 1050cc injectors
GM BCS
Evo X MAP sensor
Innovative LC-1
Tephra v5 ROM w/EGT Elim & Direct boost mods

Pump gas (BP 92), ~24psi, tapering to 22psi (woot! ecu-controlled boost!)

Boost curve needs some work, but this is my low-power tune, so it doesn't get as much attention as the alky tune

Anyways, on to the fun part!

Pump + Alky, 28.5psi tapering to 22psi

As you can see, the turbo is just out of steam and dispite my best efforts and 100% DC on the GM BCS, it just won't hold more boost up top:

Overlay, what can alky do for YOU?!?!

To flip between these two tunes, I have but to push the power button on my DDS gauge (part of the aquamist kit) and bam! The power is there While on the dyno, I tested out Tephra v5 mapswitching as I am using it for a failsafe. If the alky fails, I drop down to the pump gas tune. We did a pull, and I flipped the DDS gauge off right around 5000rpms. This seems like the worst thing you'd wanna do, but I wanted to be *sure* it was working!

Flip it off, and boost drops:

And AFR stays nice and safe Success!

Comments, Q's, and criticisms welcome

Thank you! Like I said in the orig post, it was at DB Performance in Rogers, MN. Dyno Dynamics with 1.0 CF. I'm sure it'd be well over 400whp on a DJ.

On a Dynojet, yes. On a dyno dynamics, no. This would be ~422whp on dynojet, but it's really neither here nor there. Please dont' turn this into a dyno vs dyno discussion

I wasn't trying to...But I was curious about it, so I thought I'd ask ya.

Now that you listed the dyno, that helps people for comparison sake

When you go with buschur part's you make power you pay for what you get,i remember when first did buschur stage 2 i made more power on 93 oct then people did with cam's upgraded pipes and throttle body, buschr tbe really shines and sound's redicules when the turbo kick's in, i alway's specify it sounding like the car throwing up,nice number's dyno number's car feels sick on street alot of people like at dyno number's to much and not how it run's on the street to many hater's out there *** them!!!buschur is for real.

This is true! I have built this car with one goal in mind: go with what's proven to make power. This is the result: good power
