Ets Ftw!!!

hey guys, quick review here.
first off i want to thank everyone over at ETS for the great service and great product. i ordered a 3" intercooler from them. the welds and over all intercooler is flawless! thanks again and keep up the great work!

so yesterday the evo went into surgury. i installed my ets intercooler, fujita piping and intake, and my hallman boost controller. took me about 4 hours to get it all done. after the countless hours i finely started her up and went out to tune the boost. car ran great until i blew off my lower pipe goin to the intercooler . slowly made it home and fix the pipe and went back out and tuned the boost again. now she runs GREAT! set the boost at 22-23psi it only tappers off 1 psi which is perfect. instant spool, pulls hard from 3,000rpms to redline, absolutly pleased with the products i bought. next week i will be installing my 255 walbro fuel pump than it hits the dyno for a tune! i will keep everyone posted with numbers and more updates. i am happy with all the work i have been doin to the car.

here are some pictures i took:

after:

i wanna thank once again:

Mike and all the guys from ETS.
C~Style for the fujita intercooler piping and intake
Bank277 for the hallman boost controller

thanks for reading,
Dan.F

Did you find it more worth it to get the ets with the fujita pipes, rather than just a full ets i/c kit?

well, i came across the the fujita piping on the board before i got the intercooler. imo piping is piping, just have to make sure theres not alot of bents and hte fujita was perfect for me. also i wanted to go black. my cars theme is black and red just like mitsubishi lol. also ets intercooler woulds with any aftermarket or stock piping

Looks good. I plan on getting the ETS intake and intercooler pipes. How much did you pay for your Fujita intake and IC pipes?

Josh, as much as i love ETS products, the ETS intake is not for us IX MR guys, one of my buddies on the west coast (where I lived in WA) who "works" for ETS said teh intake isn't the right one for us. Something about not good for our idle or something.

He recomended a "plain" intake like a AEM or Injen because of their 2 curve design. Just so ya know bro!

Still, ETS makes TONS of other good stuff!!! Back on topic
