we have our FR manifold for our TA car... custom built downpipe/o2housing/dump tubes etc..

we have a slightly smaller than 35R turbo in housings that were raw castings from garrett... a couple of T4 twinscrolls from .58 up.... all with custom 3" vbands..

both gates are dumped back in...

im curious what sort of boost we will see with the 2.3 liter BR motor and head and DI intake manifold... also with our vertical shortpipe fmic/radiator combo..

I'm pretty sure if you ask Geoff about this one, he will say it is for the 91-79 with-out the anti-surge ported compressor cover. The map he shows for the 83-75 is the same deal and I did ask him about that one. On a map done with the anti-surge compressor cover the surge line would be much farther to the left and all of the efficiency islands would be just a little bit more to the left, as well as the choke line being a bit more to the left.
If you look at his page for the 200 75-70, look at the thumbnail compressor map (which unfortunately will not show you a full size map) and you can barely see in the thumbnail there is a blue map and a black map, on top of each other. One is with, the other without, the anti surge ports in the compressor. I think Geoff will send you this map if you ask, and you can see how much difference it makes to have that anti-surge feature.

Bump for a good question. How would this turbo behave in low boost let's say at 15psi vs. a GT35R at 15psi? Would it still be identical graphs like in page 1?

low boost
well for daily use i kept it around 21psi and then 25 for more fun and 30 for the real deal
it made anywhere from about high 300s at 21-22 psi then about 425-430ish at 25 psi and just over 500 at 30 psi
