perrin filter really works!

well...i have a hks intake on my car with perrin filter and it really works well compare to other filters.I've had an apc small filter on my intake before, since a hks filter is not the best when it comes to filtering. My idle is good and my car pulls strong,CBRD were saying 10whp gain with just a filter and i do believe it,I would recommend this filter to anyone

Great filter! I've been very happy with mine since I installed it. The Air Filter Shootout confirmed the 10whp gains over a K&N that CBRD found.

I'm not sure what the OP has but both the older style and the new two piece perform the same.

Please let us or CBRD know if you have any questions.

I had bought the old style perrin intake for my 03, thinking it would work ok. The plastic pipe would not really fit onto my car. It was short, my intercooler pipe was in the way and I couldn't even plug my maf in without having to turn it oddly. I decided the stock intake pipe with the foam filter would suffice. The filter works great and doesn't look too shabby either.

That is about right, we focus on selling our intake kit not the individual parts. We only sell that part if somebody begs.

I had the same fitment issues. I'm running the filter with the Vibrant 1995 MAF adaptor ($20). The MAF/filter is positioned with a custom bracket. The Perrin MAF adaptor does not seat/seal properly with the OEM MAF anyway.
