sparktect cop without cdi on 700hp

Well me and Craig had been talking about me testing the non cdi cop system compared to the cdi version. So as some of you may know, we made 762hp and 608tor on the stock ecu with e85 and a ets hta88 turbo kit. He decided to send me a non cdi system to see how well it did. The results were very good! At 38psi on the dyno the car made 728 which we have been running for awhile on the street. With the non cdi it performs very well. We had to set the gap a little closer because of blow out, but at .22 gap it done very well! Here are some pics to show the system!

I got to say this is the best thing Ive seen perform so good in awhile for the evo's. Althought the cdi system performs alot better at much higher boost.

Thanks for working with me Craig

Glad to see the non-cdi still keeps the wick lit at 700+whp....WOW

This makes this option a bang for the buck mod

We were just testing the non-cdi system and found that it could hold good, but not as good as the cdi system. We basically tested the non-cdi system to see how much you could really do with it and it holds very well with closer gap on the plugs!

gotcha, have any comparison to the stock system? on a lower psi such at 30psi, the gap should be able to be opened up some correct?

Correct but not much. We have made 590 on the stock stuff, but after about 300 to 500 miles we started having trouble with blow out. I believe the cop helps power at even lower boost, because you get a better spark!

This system was designed around the idea of 550whp...Glad to see it doing it's job on 600+ and recently 700+whp cars
