Invidia? Go back and read the test results before you do that.

We have never liked or endorsed these noisemakers from EPM.

We have yet to prove any power gains whatsoever with these units.

Some things Buschur and I both agree on are O2 housings.

And yes, it seems that too much time has transpired since the Invidia testing David. I see more and more people thinking that Invidia O2 housings are worth a crap. I think many more new owners have come into the scene and missed all of the dynotesting from the last few years indicating the Invidia to be a poor design.

From the testing I have done/seen and trusted from a very few, there is no dump tube housing that performs good, they just make noise.

I also agree it appears that some of the old testing needs to be dug up and re-posted.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Basically, Megan > all.

Buschur sells a nice coated version which I have, as does PPI and MAP.

Why have dumps become so popular over the last year? Are people convinced that all that noise equals power? I've been reading threads about them not flowing well, causing creep, not fitting with certain LICP's, etc. but not a single one showing back-to-back gains vs. a traditional aftermarket o2 housing. What exactly is the huge draw?

When I replaced my EPM dump with the M.A.P. downpipe/O2 eliminator I threw the EPM in the garbage! Wasn't even going to attempt to sell it, what a wast of money!

I have a coated Buschur O2 outlet for you!

Or you could have a custom 3" with V-band fabbed by a close friend (not everyone is that fortunate)... Thanks R/TErnie!

WHile david and i can usually agree on most products that work and that dont this one i disagree personally.. We have tested the 02 dumps and while the EPM you show rusted and fell apart we honestly never experienced that... Here in FL they have held up ok.. While a pain in the *** to install i have seen with my own eyes them work on 4 cars we had here back to back..

Diirk running 10.7@126 With Green Turbo

Cwill Silver Evo 10.9 @ 127 I believe was the MPH ( around 18whp picked up )

Stryker The Stock cams record holder 11.1et

Dmoevo who was STUCK at 42x hp on the dyno until diirk swapped to shearer 02 dump and the car picked up and made ~450whp..

My personal experience is i have seen cars same day tuned to the max and then swap to an 02 dump and pick up 15-20hp that was not there previously.. Maybe its cause most of these cars run e85 and our particular setup and style of tuning but i have seen it with my own eyes..

I would never go thru the hassle of installing these dumps and hacking LICP to make them fit if they didnt work.. Trust me its not worth the 40.00 we made on each dump.. I think i invested more labor time making them fit at our expense then actually profited from selling them and I still say they work..

With that said we now offer the shearer 02 housing only.. Stainless and as you can expect will not fall apart..

i have seen o2 dump dyno sheets that made awesome power.Does this mean those sheets are fake?what about the sheets on epm's site?are those worthless?I dont see how it could be worse then a regular o2.It is bigger in diameter and the angle of the actual o2 is far more of a mellow angle the every other o2.Doesnt this mellower angle allow for smoother flow which is always better right?I know they have fitment problems.Im not a master or anything but i think people just hop on the hating bandwagon super fast.and no i dont have a epm dump or any other dump on my car.
