CCW- Complete Custom Wheels
After looking at a number of different 18x10 wheel options for the IX race car for next season, I decided to check out CCW based on the positive feedback from many here on this board, and to summarize CCW exceeded expecations
I was originally looking at the CCW Classic's due to price point (plus as a bonus they are a sharp looking wheel!) So rather than just taking my order, they did something that is very rare for companies these days...they asked questions.
They asked about the application, how the wheels would be used, my suspension set up, tire size, and potential car upgrades. The last question was critical, as the Classics cannot be used with a BBK if I were to ever consider going to to a BBK (which may be a potential upgrade down the line) I would have to change out wheels! Just that one question saved me a potential financial hit down the line.
They are also very astute when it comes to the Evo and helping with offsets and fitment. So with the Classics off the table, they recommended the C10's. The problem was they out of my original budget but this is where CCW really helped out. They had a leftover set from an order that was in the warehouse and even though the fitment wasn't exact for the Evo, they built custom spacers so that the fitment would be dead on and helped me out with the price.
When the wheels arrived, they were packed like fine china...(seriously!) If you are used to seeing $2500+ "JDM" wheels covered by a piece of fabric and sandwiched between a 1/8" piece of cardboard you'll be shocked when you see how these arrived. CCW packs both sides of the wheels in thick blown in shipping foam. Is it that big of a deal? Maybe not; but it shows that they care enough to take the extra steps. I showed the wheel spacers to the guy that put the tires on and he said that they were "works of art"
Even though the C10's are race-purpose wheels and not necessarily "fashionable," CCW has some beauitful styles to choose from for those going for asthetics as well as performance.
When I get a second set of wheels for rain tires before the season starts, they will be CCW's
