Ever since about a year ago I've always used Amsoil on my Tranny/T-case/Rear Diff . A couple weeks back I had to replace my Rear Diff because it started whining from bogging the car really bad one night at the track.
Naturally I needed new fluids so I pm'd apgan01 here on the forums and asked him to get me a full set of fluids. Being Christmas time, the fluids took longer than expected and I had to buy some Redline Fluids to get my car back on the road, apgan01 apologized for the delay and said he would make it up to me. His customer service was excellent and he was very dedicated to get all my fluids here as quick as possible
After driving with the Redline fluids for a couple weeks my Tranny started getting hard to shift and very notchy with reverse grinding all the time, something I never experienced when I was running AMSOIL
I had apgan01 send me a new set on next day air. I drained the Redline fluids and they were all dirty and worn after only 1500 or so miles on them. I replaced them with the new AMSOIL fluids and all the notchiness and grinding went away and my shifts are like they used to be.
From now on I know that I won't run anything but AMSOIL fluids in my car

Hope you learned your lesson lol, mine literally came the next day i ordered it and that was like a week before christmas..i dunno how the f they pulled it off. Ill never use anything else.
my experience with AMSOil is a bit different. My motor oil is VERY dirty after 5,000 miles with their claim of 15,000 miles, I think I might try another oil. I never really noticed a difference with performance or such. It was like $7 quart too! Back to Mobil 1 for now..
On the other hand, I found that the drivetrain oil is doing well and is only notchy in the cold.

Thanks for sharing. I bought 3 quarts of Redline MT90 for my tranny. As for TC and rear diff, I'm sticking with OEM diaqueen. I guess I haven't tried AMSoil Tranny fluid. After I used up my Redline, I'll try AMSoil tranny fluid.

My experience with Redline is different. I am using Redline with no issues what so ever. Shifting is great. I have no issues at all. I heard alot of garbage from amsoil. I will stick with Redline.

please run an analysis on the oil and report it back,,, i tell you i know the results even without seeing before hand your analysis report if you ever conduct one,,, your results will be supprising to yourself.
any full synthetic will be loaded with detergents with are made to clean the internals, any full synthetic has a high TBN number which will combat oil break down.

but you are one in a big bucket of people that have noticed many advatages by using a GL4 mutiviscocity synthetic.
I switched to Amsoil on my other car (Z06) when I started tracking it last year. I immediately noticed a difference (engine, trans, diff) compared to the normal fill of Mobil 1 and factory fluids.
I will be switching to Amsoil on my Evo very soon!!

Thanks for the review. I'll be switching to AMSOIL all around for my next batch of fluids, and would of done so by now but still had mobil1 sitting around from a Costco deal a while back.
