i just got tuned last night at kevins shop in lewisville. bit of a drive for me but well worth the trip. on a wednesday night i counted a total of 13 evos there including mine. i made 330whp and 320wtq according to the vdr. kevin gave me a hallman after he chased boost issues with my 3 port, and a short somewhere in my wiring. he also performed a boost leak test and found many leaks. previously i had another big name shop boost leak test and found nothing. turns out they didnt do it right. he started about 830 last night and stayed busy on it till about 1am. best of all he charged me his flat rate tuning charge and called it a night. i really also appriciated that he walked me through the tune and also how the other tuner previously had my car running. i was very impressed and he will be the one tuning my car from now on. if anyone is on the fence about switching shops or going to kevin id highly recommend it.

Kevin is definantly a good guy and is more than generous with his time. Thats very rare, and awesome! I hope he stays booked solid as he definantly deserves it!

thanks for the review! oh and turns out the mac valve i tried on your car didn't work on another car as well. we figured out that the pins were pushing out of the connector when the connectors were pushing together (after finding that we fixed it and it worked fine). we remedied the problem, so the good news it is possible that your wiring/ecu are still working correctly (although, since both the grimspeed and mine didn't work, its still possible the ecu/wiring have a problem. i would have to try a properly working mac valve to be sure one way or another).

Def the best tuner possible...very precise in his work...and takes his time and goes through all the steps before completing any job. And still charges a very good price, what is set is what he charges...doesn't run up the bill like others would just to make a buck! Kevin is the man!

yeah he tuned your car didnt he mackie? i had you know who tune the first time and it was all outta wack. glad kevin got it fixed.
he is def. generous with his time and very malticulous about how the car sits before he even decided wanted to make a run.
