I had a Rhys Millen Racing cone style intake and bracket laying around, so i wanted to see how much less restrictive it would be compared to the stock airbox with cosworth panel filter. Install was simple, but the support bracket didnt fit with my ets short route uicp. Took it out for a test drive, and quite honestly the car didnt feel much faster, maybe needed a tune to realize benefits? I also ddint really care for how loud the dv sound was with the cone filter, sounded really ricer. For some strange reason I have heard other intakes that didnt sound this obnoxious.
In short I am very glad I didnt actually pay for this. I do have a RMR dp and catback setup that I am happy with though.
