Haha, yeah, I should've known something was up when I smelled the hot/burning oily smell. I already pop the hood for every other out of place smell and noise anyway.

Good info bigben, thanks for the R&D on the install. Going to purchase these soon! Do you run a catch can also?

Nah, no catch here, but combined with the vents I'm sure it's a good idea. I can definitely vouch for the increased gas mileage. I'm used to only getting around 220 miles per tank, and I got almost 290 miles per tank. I will say a decent bit of those miles were uninterrupted (no stop lights or having to slow down) so that contributed to the increase. I'd like to do a test to see what the average increase would be for me, but I just can't keep my foot out of it sometimes

I've kept my eye on these for the past week and the dipstick is still intact. As long as that vacuum hose isn't kinked, everything will be fine. I am satisfied with the results.

They both go on/near the valve cover; one on the breather tube (driver's side) and one after the PCV valve (back).

I would, but my only means of taking pics are on a plain jane slider/keyboard phone with terrible camera The pics would not be as detailed as I'd like them to be.
