Scammed by Blacklight Engineering
Copied from Project Lancer (where the vendor came from)
Hi all,
As I'm sure a lot of you know, Blacklight Engineering used to be vendor on these forums. Well, a while ago I bought his 'in development' turbo kit that he was selling. Now, I have everything installed and 95% of the parts he sold me did not work! I started the car just now and the turbo he sold me is SPEWING oil. His manifold was stripped, his piping didn't fit, his intercooler had a hole in it, his injectors were too large and I don't trust them, his oil pan was dented, his oil line snapped in half due to a poor quality weld, his manifold gaskets were broken, his water lines were pinched, and I can't remember what else is wrong with this kit, but already this is enough to be a non-working kit. He sold this kit to me as quoted by him IN WORKING ORDER . Now, what I am requesting from the community here at project lancer is 1. what happened to him 2. all of the contact information that anyone has and 3. what course of action I can take. Problem was when I purchased the kit is that my dad picked up the kit for me and he only saw the intercooler damage, we didn't find out the rest until we installed the kit. I am extremely angry right now and I want to get my $1500 back from him. Help me out guys, it'd be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your replys

PS. I've already got 'flamed' for buying the kit, so I'm looking for help NOT people saying what I did wrong. Thanks

He was a vendor on Project Lancer, I know its not directly related to this site but I wanted to know if any one else in the Mitsubishi community has dealt with him and could help me out.
