paid for a trans and transfer case on november 26th via google checkout. got the trans in mid december, looked like it at at the bottom of a mud hole for a year. got the transfer case in pieces and missing the lsd. keep getting the runaround about the lsd. to this day i do not have the lsd in my hands, only keep hearing that it has shipped, it will ship and every other excuse that changes weekly. got a call from trevor @ shep today about the trans. every gear but first and reverse is shot! i was told that the tran was in great shape and that he drove the car it came out of and that it was mint.

this has all been a disaster, nothing has arrived close to on time, im still missing parts and the stuff i was sent is junk.

if anyone else has had issues, please speak up.

I am sorry to hear about your transaction man. I got a rear 02 sensor from him a couple months ago and the clips were broken. He also forgot to include a part that he said he would include. I contacted him to talk about things and got nothing. I have heard some other things about his drive train parts but never believed them to be true. I have met him a couple of times and everything seemed well but hey in today's economy...people can change. Best of luck to you man and remember there is always small claims court.

There have been several other instances including one of my buddys who bought a FF manifold off him. Not the best member to do business with.

Just to be clear, this is not a referendum for speculation and personal opinion. If anyone has direct, first-hand information specific to this transaction or another dispute, you may post. Everyone else should refrain from adding comments.

I wouldn't hold this against evokid. Almost any trans you ship to shep will have a lot of unexpected expenses. I bought a trans from someone on this board that cost me $600 in unexpected expenses with shep. I wanted the seller to pay half but after a while I realized anything short of a brand new trans or the most meticulously maintained low mileage trans will have unexpected expenses with sheptrans. I believe its cause they're so OCD about everything being perfect.

As for the rest I do believe you got shafted and hope you get some compensation.

Yes trans was good and in driving condition.

My main reason of never wating sell transmissions is for this reason.

Even if the trans is good im always told by any shop ita bad.. Im not gonna get into details but plain and simple.. Im not here to lie to anyone or steal anyones money. Ive been a very honest seller on here.

Btw this is the tracking you were waiting for.

Plz inform me if you would like a full refund because i gladly will to make you feel better as a customer.

I will be leaving town wed night intill monday morning march 12.

So if i dont answer do not take it as a no response.

Il be out the country with no way to use internet.

Ill check for the diff when i get home, that tracking says delivery today. As far as the trans it being built already so i cant send it back. i got the call about it last week and told them to go ahead as i need a trans to finish my car. If you want you can call trevor at shep, you have my name so you can ask about the core. I dont think its unreasonable for a partial refund on the trans. I wasnt expecting perfection, bit i also wasnt expecting whats basically a case and a couple rails and a gear thats useable.

Im not on this forum to scam anyone and i def want that to be my main point.

Tell me what you think will be the best option here for you to be happy in our deal.

I want customer satisfaction and make sure your happy.

I have new things changing at the shop that will enable a employee to be full time on the forums/ social networking.. My business is finally expanding and handling it all myself is beyond my ability anymore.

i got the diff as promised, im not going to throw a huge fit over the timeline as you did offer to refund me for the diff a while ago when you didnt have one and i told you i would wait.
as far as the condition of the trans, i feel it was in rougher shape than it should have been. like i said its at shep being built so i cant return it, but i dont think a partial refund on it is out of line. i also want a fair resolution and dont want to be making unfair demands. if you or any 3rd party members/mods have a reasonable idea, im all ears.

just got back in town boss, If you look above i made a post stating i would be out of the country.

Im thinking as well on a resolution. I could work out a deal with tossing you some aftermarket parts at the shop, a Credit or possibly something you could think of.
