Competition Stage 3.5 clutch/ACT ProLite Flywheel

Finally finished my nightmare install (first time) with Competition Stage 3.5 clutch, ACT ProLite flywheel, STM SS clutch line, Redline cocktail tranny fluid, and I also removed the restrictor. I NEVER drove a car with an aftermarket clutch so initially driving it was difficult-I stalled when pulling out, had some very jerky shifts, and made my buddy laugh his @$$ off at me. It is grabby, direct, and quick reving. Now at about 100 miles (break in period is 500 miles) and already getting used to it. Will post an update after the 500 mile break in. Can't wait!

Almost done with break in although I did get on it a few times. I have zero patience! Still having issues pulling out in first gracefully-gotta be very precise with the lightweight flywheel and grabby clutch. I do some bucking and shuddering (sometimes really bad head turner) pull outs but it's getting a bit better. It is a great feeling of accomplishment just to have a smooth take off! Also, I have stalled it a few times coming to stops unless it's very gradual. The RPM's dip so fast that the ECU (or whatever) can't catch up in time. This also happens when doing slow turns ins while I keep the clutch in (especially pulling into parking lots). I see what everyone says now about how much the lightweight flywheel sucks in DD and stop-and-go traffic. Soon I will be really getting on this clutch and putting it to the full test!

Oh yeah it'll take a bit to get used to the light flywheel. Soon you'll get the hang of it, like a pro!

Your rpms dropping could be corrected with a tune.

Passed the 500 mile break in mark and gave it hell today. Clutch feels awesome! No lock out issues! Love it!
