West end alignment
West end alignment
Went there today. Had to make an appointment about a week or two beforehand. Well worth it. Great guys. Never had an alignment where they asked me a bunch of questions about my driving style and the give and take between handling and tire wear. They even align with me in the car to account for the weight. When they are done they tell you to go drive it before paying. Doesn't want you to pay until you are happy. It was raining here is So Cal so I couldn't go too crazy but this is a great shop. They were aligning a new M3 and an older track M3 when I arrived. Ended up with -2 camber in front and I believe -1.5 rear. I went back and forth between 1.5 and 2 and ended up going with 2. I just don't want to destroy my tires overnight but do want the car to handle well. At first I went 1.5 and then when I think he was almost done I changed my mind to -2 and they redid it no problem. I felt like a jerk, but they were completely cool about it.
I highly suggest West End. It's in Gardena. I made the trip from Irvine in pouring rain and traffic and I would do it again. There is a video on YouTube with an interview of the owner. That's what got me there. Just his knowledge and him really wanting to understand your driving style and not just thow the factory spec alignment on there, charge you and yell NEXT! BTW, it was 100$. I haven't had an alignment in awhile so I don't now prices but I would have paid more, luckily he doesn't chage more!
I'm kind of a princess when it comes to service.
I just have this thing about getting good service, so if I like a place as much as I like them, the average person will probably think they were sent from god himself.
Oh, and if you make an appointment make sure you show. I read some things that they aren't very happy when people flake. I don't know that first hand. Just some posts on Yelp. But who doesn't hate flakes? Especially when they cost you money.
