Big Thumbs Up For Boostin Performance!!!
As many of you know I've been piecing together my build for quite some time now. I wanted to turn my Evo into a complete monster while still enjoying driving it comfortably on the street. So I sat down with Devin @Boostin and explained to him exactly what I was looking for. He was happy to answer every single question i had about doing the build as well as giving me insight on the right parts to make this baby boogie! I was assured a fast, reliable streetcar would soon be born.
Right after I dropped off my car parts were ordered, trans was getting broken down for the BP Ultimate ratio rebuild and I could just tell things were going to go smoothly. Kristin frequently updated me on progress, keeping me in the loop of what was going on. At this point I knew I could just sit back comfortably and know everything was getting taken care of in a quick timely manner.
Once all the parts arrived it was only a matter of a few weeks before everything was wrapped up! I knew Devin was fast when it came to the dragstrip but he is just as fast in the shop
Once the car was ready for the dyno I was informed to stop by and see what newfound power the car would make. Anxious I rushed over and the rollers were ready to rock. Hearing the car for the first time was like music to my ears!
She sounded completely different, a whole new beast was born! The Evo went from a barren bay to this!


We started making power on the mustang dyno first came 500, 600, 700..then we ran into a break up issue at the same rpm every time, odd. Devin pulled it off to trouble shoot the issue. Everything was went over ignition, plugs, sensors the problem seemed to be deeper than that. At this same time I had some unfortunate family matters come up and I had no time to dig into the problem...instead I was looking into something a little bigger like trying to find a new house.
So I put the Evo on the back burner until I was able to get everything situated at home. After all that was said and done I was ready to fix the issue and get the car ready for this season. Brought the car back over to Boostin and they quickly fixed the problem. Turned out to be the 12 tooth trigger disc I purchased from a vendor was bent a hair and thowing off the crank sensor.
Back to on the rollers we went to fine line tune mrboost! Once we started making power every pull was crisp and clean, I knew we were onto something! In depth dyno results/graph will be provided in the appropriate section of the forums, as well as my new quarter mile results. This post is just to recognize Boostin and thier efforts to get the car where it is today. Final numbers!! Should be plenty for this street beast

It is a complete animal on the street!! Responsive, smooth and powerful i can say it was everything i was searching for in a high hp streetcar. The bp built trans is just luscious shifts very smooth A few quick pulls and I was in love
Needless to say I am blown away by results and couldent be happier with how everything turned out. From the get go I was provided with outstanding service, fantasic communication skills and superior knowledge. This is what it takes to run a shop these days. The drive and passion they show over at Boostin speaks for itself. If you are in the midwest I would highly recommend you give them a shout for any of your performance needs!
