Boostin Performance (Chicago Area)
Just wanted to give a quick summary of my most recent experience at Boostin Performance. Brought the car in on May 22nd for my E85 switchover and a fresh tune on their new Mustang Dyno. After arriving Devin did a boost leak test and attempted to drain the fuel tank. While draining the tank realized that there were other problems with a clogged fuel line and some small wiring issues that were causing lean conditions and rought idle. While there Devin suggested I clean my FIC 1100's due to gunk build up and than have them flow tested in their new injector cleaning machine. Finally got the car on the dyno to discover it was running very lean up top and my fuel pump/injectors were maxed out. Well Devin decided that the fuel pump was the culprit and we decided to change the Fuel Pump and relay for safety. Got it back on the dyno and car instantly ran better.....but the fuel system was done at 401 WHP on their Mustang Dyno. Car was running great and after paying
LOL I was back on the road in my Corn Fed Beast. Well after driving throught the first tank of gas the car was now running pig rich. So I was in a hurry to get it back over there to figure out what was going on. I needed to be ready in three days for the Chicago Half mile shootout at Bult Field in Monee IL (wannagofast event). So Devin and Kristin hooked it up. Upon arrival Devin came to the conclusion that we had still E85 winter blend. He spent 3 hours touching up my tune and the car ran AWESOME! On to Sunday.....First run I ran a new viper SRT10 and lost by two miles and hour 119 to 117, but I was hitting boost cut in 5th and had to get out and brake 200 yards before the trap
. Well found Devin in between his SICK consisitent 208+ MPH runs and he took time out of his day to tough up my tune. He decided to lower boost in 5th and that is all i took. I ran 6 time that afteroon and went from 140.20 to 143. Very consistent and the car ran great!!! Check out times at wannagofast.com for previous events. I can thank Devin enough for a rediculous tune and real world results car now
. One down side in my last race I an 142 versus a supercharged new viper srt10, but the clutch gave out. Exedy Twin HD showed up today and Devin is putting it in Thursday. Once again Big Props for Boostin Performance!

Another
for Boostin! Nothing but good things to say about their facility, (which is spotless), professionalism and follow though. They were able to accommodate my schedule, got the work done in the amount of time promised for the fee promised, and even called the following week to check up on things and make sure I'm happy. I've been there twice and will continue to get work done as I add mods. Anyone who's into modding or cars in general knows how important it is to feel comfortable with the people working on your car. I get the feeling that they're going to treat it as well as I do and respect it while it's in their hands. Keep up the great work!
