Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience buying a car as expensive as an Evo X from Vroom specifically. I’d love to hear if you’ve bought from other “online dealerships” but the specific car I’m looking at is on Vroom.com and I really want it. I just wanted to see if anyone has any good or bad or just any experience in general shopping from them. Any tips or info on buying is greatly appreciated you guys!

 

I have sold cars to Carvana but I don't know if I would ever buy a car like an Evo from them. These cars you really need to inspect and test drive prior to purchase..

 

I personally wouldn't buy cars from Vroom or Carvana until they dramatically improve their business practice. I've heard too many horror stories, mostly involving very troublesome cars carrying a stellar repair cost, or that an online dealer refused to refund. In these stories, my acquaintances had to seek legal counsel to sort it out.

Luckily, people like you and I live in the civilized parts of the world, where lawyer do work wonders and are indeed pursuing justice. Law enforcement bodies like Ontario's OMVIC do care and straighten out shady practices. That said, my favorite way of doing business is dealing with reputable and courteous people. It saves me headaches.
