I think that it is about time the Vishnu kids came back to big D! While Shiv did not care for his last two "smogout" venues, he would dig Wasabi Racing's setup. Nice eddy current Mustang dyno. The North Texas Evo Club is having an event (dyno day) there this weekend and it looks like everything is running clockwork style. Come on David, I don't care what you have to do to arrange the trip (and I don't nescesarily want to know), but talk Shiv into it.

Is there any intrest out there in getting Vishnu to come to Dallas? While there are no solid plans at this point, if we could generate the intrest then we can probably get Shiv down here. And you too David.

Hey, Dallas isn't too far from me. That'd be great if Vishnu could come over one weekend for a dyno day. Got to get some more parts together before that though We should definitely get this rolling.

 

Or maybe we should all road trip to San Fran... I'll be heading out there sometime in the near future for a Stage 3, unless he comes here first.. I'll even bring my Prada Toggles so Shiv won't be the only one being picked on about his shoes...

I think somewhere more centrally located than Dallas should be picked. Say, San Antonio or Austin. Austin is between Dallas and Houston. Besides, Dallas sucks. No offense, but it does...big, fat, hairy, cheese *****.

I don't live in dallas, but this is the closest shiv would ever be to my location. it'd be awesome if you guys could make this happen.

 

What's in Dallas? A DD? Mohammad has a Mustang here and I'm sure he'd let Shiv set the parmeters.

 

Wasabi has an Eddy Current Mustang dyno. I do not know what Mohammad has, but I do not think that there are very many Eddy Current's around, I could be wrong though.

 

dude we just had a rockin weekend!! had people from oklahoma, arkansas, corpus cristiy texas, lubbock texas, we even had a guy from austin(which suprises me cause it seems the austins guys dont like to leave their town). everyone had a blast!! we are definatley going to plan another at the beginning of next year, that will give plenty of notice to the vishnu guys and everyone who wants to participate so they can make it. wasabi has one of the most sophisticated dynos in a five state area, inertia load bearing, can handle up to 4000 hp!! ford motor company order one and they havent even recieved it yet!! they have a fully a/c room for everyone to watch from and they have flat screens tv's which show the dyno monitor as the car is pulled so you dont have to wait for the guy to come in with the sheet and show you what you put down. it is def. top notch and we are hoping that shiv and david would be willing to come down and tune on our cars. here are some pics from this weekend and david if this is some thing we can make happen email at jason@evotexas.org and we'll start planning what date would be best!!

the first pic is of the dyno itself, second is looking at the dyno from the waiting area through the window, third is the outside of the shop, and fourth is the waiting area and you can see the flat screen tv up on the wall with dyno display on it.
