Talking

That California muscle was HUGE

I had a blast as well. Driving Rich's Sti and the hella drive with Shiv in my little ol' 212 HP WRX was fun and scary at the same time. Boiled some brake fluid for sure...

It was great meeting everyone and I have to say I hate straping Evo's .

Andrew and his family are always great and meeting Shiv and Dustin was a pleasure. My tune was well worth the drive down. Eating dinner at midnight and waffles in the morning was awesome too.

Thanks to Seth, Cooter and Paul for helping me and being funny as hell. Pauls reaction after his tune was priceless. It was good Shiv was not around, he might have got mollested LOL.

LMAO.. So true, Mike E. What's with the weird screen name?

Anyway, here's my graphs, people. Run number 82 is my tune a couple of weeks ago on 93 octane. Run 111 is Shiv's improvement with the same mods. Run 117 is race gas. Look at the midrange torque from the timing advance race gas allows. We're at the limit of the stock clutch on race gas, but the car feels like a rocket ship.

-Seth

Bah! I can't post it due to the firewall of buttholeness. Sending to Mike for posting..

I was actually thinking: "Man, my SAFC-2 tune on his car must've REALLY sucked." Good thing there was a probe problem; I would've crawled in a hole and never tried to tune another Evo again.

nah man, it was pretty good, you got to remember with the XEDE, more boost, timing and all.

2peak whp on pump, fricker. And you > me because you dynoed at night, bish. I told you guys an intercooler wouldn't really help on the stock turbo. You have less torque on race gas than I, but more on pump. Go figure that one out.

Here, I'll go ahead and do it before Andrew does: -3-

That'd be a major positive. I had ~5 gallons of 93, 5 gallons of 110, and 2 gallons of C16 to fill the tank the rest of the way. I was around 104 octane.
