Xede map 1+ optimized

Anyone out there has a good 93 octane Xede map that they can send. Preferable tuned with intake or custome tuned by Shiv? I think the map on the site is a little weak on top or somehow got corrupted durring the download. Any help appreciated. I still think it is not running to it's full potential and I don't think Shiv is coming to Houston any time soon. Thanks,

Sigfrid

good luck on that one man, you think people that paid hard earned money and to have their car tuned by Shiv are going to just send you a map??
Even if they did, i would not trust someone else's custom map. Each car is different. Good luck though man, I hope it works out.

Well I don't have a problem with sharing my maps. Why not? ruzs: Sorry I don't send out intake maps only with the stock box.

The intake has definitely kinked the maps pretty good in my experience. It took me a good amount of time to get it running where it should be after putting the buschur intake on, but if you watch your wideband its not bad at all. I've got my own map tuned to about 11.5:1 on 93 w/intake, turbo back exhaust with cat-delete, and 264/272 cams. The intake is pretty screwy in that it really doesn't behave the same way all the time and/or the maf doesn't meter the air correctly.

Actually, yeah. This is a community, believe it or not and its still a custom tune on the car that was tuned on. Using someone else's customed tuned map still isn't a direct fit for your vehicle, but gives you a more refined basis from which to begin.

Yes but the knock system is so quick to react on the evo it's not even funny and even tuned maps from Shiv a much richer then the next tuner. Ya they might be slightly off to the next car but not enough IMHO to really do somthing nasty to your motor. And with the Xede you can always pull a bit of timing in the load zone were knock happens before and after it just to smooth out the ignation advance. Simple enough I think or for extra bit of safty just pull a .5 degree across the modded ignation advance in the timing map.
