400 to 450whp

Ok I know the Dyno Dynamics #s are less then most of the average dynos ..... so what stage would I need to push between 400-450 whp on a average dyno?

Also I saw some where that Stage 3 costs 5K but dose that also include all the stuff in stage 1+ ? or is the 5K extra on top of the Stage 1+ ?

5K on top of stage 1+ ....

Ppl have pushed close to 400whp (dynojet) on a TME turbo. With racegas, a stage 2 should easily get you to your goal...

stage 1+ in addition to the stage 2 turbo kit will get you to your goal of 400-450whp, on 100 octane gas. For that you're looking at ~ $6000 (Does not include install prices, shipping, or CA sales tax if you're a resident of CA)

Yeah, you'd have to go with stage 3 to get close to that on 91 sludge. Stage 3 with 100 octane will put you at 400whp on our dyno

You're looking at around ~8k for the full stage 3 kit (stage 3 + the 1+ kit)

They are priced well at 4300 no injectors. Main difference is our manifold is made out of 321 SS and we include injectors. So OK our kit apple for apple is 4600

Duuuuuude,
Study before you post. The favored AMS kit is $4199. That does not include $450 for injectors. Vishnu's kit includes injectors. So AMS's kit is more affordable at $4649. That is $350 less. I don't think the AMS kit will bolt on to your Vishnu test pipe or high flow cat, you will probably pay a muffler shop another $100 to match them up, lowering the difference to around $250. At this point, many of us will not decide based on price point, as both kits are in the same general ballpark.

That being said, the AMS kit is freaking bad-a$$ and a bit less money, and it comes with an intake system. So kudos to AMS. The Vishnu kit has a much lower profile exhaust manifold that can retain the stock heat shield and stock intake system, which is great for the stealth factor, among other things.

They are both on back order, by the way. You can't go wrong with either.

Capitalism, I love America. But don't call AMS yet David. They push that 35R and with it's results, it is hard to blame them. But I'm afraid of breaking every drivetrain part and making my Evo into a one trick pony (drag pony). On a road course, with my lame skills, I could just picture my sorry butt spinning off the track on a low speed corner when boost hits.

What? drivetrain parts will break???????????? D'oa! Smoggy, why didn't you warn me!!

Come on admit it, you're a torque junkie and you're addicted!

I'll tell you a secret, the car gets real quiet when you launch at 7000 and your done with second gear in 3 1/2 seconds

You'll be raiding the piggy bank to feed the parts bin and buy race gas!
