XEDE installed, question
yes all seems to be well, I have been watching my boost gauge, it still hits the same, but it seems to my like it is tapering off quicker now, or maybe I just didnt watch it enough to begin with. I popped a vaccum hose off my car the other night off the manifold while driving and noticed i was only maxing at like 10psi of boost..haha, but now that problem is fixed. Is there any negative side effects with reseting the ECU with XEDE plugged up to it???
This is a well-known Vishnu tuning trick.
He starts you off with an outstanding map which slowly degrades back to baseline, requiring you to upgrade every six months or so. It happened to me!
No one knows how he does it, but it's rumored that he has thousands of programmers back in Mumbai just for the purpose.

Yah, mine started feeling slow until two days ago, when a fairly new (0-2 yrs old) 911 got it's a$$ handed to it by my little 4 banger - repeatedly (guess he was a glutton for punishment, hehe). Don't really know which 911 it was, since it was dark and it was debadged ... but then again, who cares?

I've noticed a nasty hiccup with my 1+ car. If I floor it from low rpms (2k-ish) in 3rd gear, it will start accelerating then blam it stops accelerating and the rpms skyrocket. Has done this twice in 2 days and the 2nd time it threw a CEL (which I haven't checked yet). Has been perfect other than low-rpm 3rd gear. Misfire? Does anyone have the CEL code from their misfires? What should I do to fix it?
