What about an intake manifold,I wonder how much power can one make on the stock turbo?

Yes, I am looking into it. I think I can piece it together for considerably less than a grand.

What struck me about Joe's dyno chart is the fact that even with his advancing both cams to a +3/+3 setting, there was no early sign off of top end power. Of course, he could have just photoshop'd it. In any case, I'd like to follow suit and get that last 20whp or so. I'd probably rig up an underhood bladder, and toggle the high-oct map and H2O injection simultaneously. The question is, will I give up too much by retuning the primary map to attenuate preignition with that aggressive cam timing setting and 93 oct?

Toss into the mix the cat delete and the AMS IC, and that's about all I can do.

I'll check into the rumor about the BB internals for the turbo.

Maybe I dreamed it, but I thought I recently saw a thread with dyno testing of the aftermarket intake manifolds and there was surprisingly little difference. If anyone has a link to this, please post it.

The Ohlins Coilovers is the next logical step - unless your main concern is 1/4 mile type speed

if u plan to increase the pwr to 400hp level, i think you should also think about diffs and clutch.

Which is another reason why I am inclined to get everything I can from this turbo and be done with it.

Ok Ted...again you are sounding like me. Personally, I beat a Yamaha R6 two days ago. Ya know what that means? My car is damn fast (same mods you have except I have an equal length tubular manny). What you might want to consider (this is what I'm doing), chill for a while and enjoy the cooler air with this setup. Next Spring, pop for a GT30R turbo. That will give you supercar performance. Ok, let's recap...chill, have fun for another 5-6 months and then get mondo turbo. Easy, huh?

Honestly, I was blown away too.

I was cruising down the highway and a friend was coming in the opposite direction and flashes his lights at me. So, he calls me up and says that there's a bike about a mile ahead and I should go get him. Me thinks...hmmmm, maybe I will. I catch up, pull up beside him, gun it a little and bam! He's gone. He lets off, I catch up and then we are at a red light just about 3 miles out of town. I am right behind him thinking, "Ok, he's had his fun, that's it". Hell no! The light turns green and he hits it! So, I'm thinking, "No freakin' way!" There I am banging from first then second hoping like hell he doesn't dust me. Here comes third..."Holy crap, he's not getting away!" I then grind fourth a little, inching up I notice him tucked and his pants flapping maddly in the wind, at the top of fourth I walked him! NO WAY! We pulled up to the next red light a few miles down the road. The first thing that came from his mouth, while he was shaking his head at me was, "Man that is a faaaast car." My response? "Yes, it is."

To be honest, I never was going to post this because people would give me sheeit. But look, I'm an honest guy and this was a factual event. That's it, flame if you will but, you can't change the truth with your skepticism.

I have no problems believing that ... there aren't many people with the ***** to truly run a bike like that flat out (I know I don't) I'm guessing that if his front tire didn't come off the ground slightly he wasn't fully gunning it, at which point a fast Evo would probably beat it.

Amen to that. No kit is needed for a lightweight battery. Also, after I put in my ams intercooler, I "forgot" to put that pesky front bumper beam back on. Also, I hope I don't get a flat or my wife will be bringing me my spare..... Just these three things add up to over 70lbs.
