Stage 1+ EVO
Stage 1+ EVO
Has anyone anywhere passed an emmisions test with Stage 1+. I mean why would people mod their daily driver to where it wouldn't pass emissions. When you did your test how did they do an AWD car? Here in Texas it is one set of wheel sits on a roller and they load test your emissions.
Thanks
Thanks
You may want to temporarily adjust your cams from the -3/-3 setting to something like -4int/0exh to remove some valve overlap. This should make the car idle much better, which should in turn give better burn efficiency at idle and part throttle operation, where emissions are tested.
Now, I am not subject to emissions testing and I make no guarantees. This is only a suggestion based upon my personal conclusions.

i've heard of guys with stage one + passing.....
Here in CA we revert to Two Speed Idle testing on AWD cars....which makes it alot easier to pass....as long as u can nail the visual part of the test....and u keep ur Cat. converter, the car should pass.

Oh and you mentioned having your cams at -3/-3, I was told to do -2/-2.
