Boost Comparison:TME turbo Vs. Vishnu Stg. 3
I am talking to Smogrunner and IE Evo as they are returning from Vishnu Performance. They are both driving side by side in their Evos. Smogrunner has a brand new setup with the 10.5 TME turbo, and IE Evo is running a full Vishnu Stage 3 with a 30R turbo. They have both run out of race gas and are running regular 91 octane gas.
Smogrunner is hitting 20lbs of boost in 5th gear at 2750 RPM. Now bear in mind that he is using 20lbs as a benchmark. His full boost is somewhere between 23-24lbs of boost.
The Yellow School Bus driver, IE EVo, is hitting 20lbs of boost by 3350 RPM in 5th gear. However, he is having problems multitasking by looking at his boost gauge and at his RPM's. This is why he is probably driving that little yellow school bus
For Smoggy, 4th gear hits 20lbs of boost by 2850 RPM.
IE Evo is hitting 20lbs of boost by 3550 RPM in 4th gear.

Both Smog and IE have nice setups.
Smog,I believe made 303whp on 91 and 333 on c16
IE 337whp on 91 and 420whp on c16
As always, you sacrifice a bit of spoolup w/ the 3037, but it his a lot harder on top.
Tom's setup on the other hand, is a little more"streetable" w/ pretty strong midrange and not a bad bang for the buck.

had horrible traction at the track due to chilly temps 48 degrees and crappy tires, i spun all through first and was sideway almost out of the gate...
i ran 12.0@122.4
and a 12.1@121.9 both with a 1.97 AND 1.98 60FT.
im doing a new tune at Turbo Trix in about a week or so, tough to make tons of power on the stock ecu though its out there, ill keep you guys updated, i DO LOVE the 3037 set up though.

Hey all, we made it back about an hour ago. (C5 Vette, RIP, lol, but true. Right afterwards, it was quite humiliting when I.E. told me it was my turn to take care of the modded Hyundai, lol but true too!)
One immediate observation: The title of this thread is misleading.
The intent of this thread was in no way meant to be a competition. It was just to give some basic information about how these two awesome setups spool on the road, on pump gas. Race fuel truly unleashes the Beast in the Stage 3.

Both me and Smoggy downshift to 4th it is game over for Smoggy but if we both are in 5th and hit it going 70mph it doesn't take a rocket scientist to deduce that Smoggy owns me until we get into the 110 + range or more.

This is IE under Smoggy's account. Hey, how is Slorice's biattch doing? Speaking of displacement, it's not the meat, it's the motion. BTW, I need some more pictures for Slorice's glovebox. Just seeing "Slower Than I" this Saturday, Slorice spun his tires prematurely and couldn't finish the race. Engine fluids destroyed the old pics of my biattch.

You suck Smoggy
