Is this normal for a 10.5?

So, my car is a stage 1+ tuned with the 10.5.

My boost holds steady at 22psi on 91 pump gas. It no longer tapers, at all. With the Stage 1+ tune, it still tapered in certain gears.

I want to say that its the MR BOv that i upgraded to, but the boost still tapered with that BOV on the car, in stage 1+ form.

So . . . is the turbo just able to flow THAT much more air constantly then or what?

Did anyone ever answer this question? I'm curious as I plan on putting one of these things in my car.
