I'm just aware that it is different (larger) and it carries a different part number from the '03-'04 cars. Other than that, I don't know.

It's a restrictor in the boost control lines. I'm not sure whether the XEDE is setup to account for its presence or not.

-Knock logging.
-O2 simulator circuit for test pipes integrated into the harness (easily retrofitable for those who already have harnesses)
-O2/AFR logging
-MAF is now scaled logarithmically at low load and non-log at higher load for max resolution down low without giving up high load resolution. The transition is invisable at 20% load.
-Closed loop fuel tuning. Improves fuel economy since you can program the XEDE to cruise at a slightly leaner AFR. Also fixes idle quality on big cammed cars since you can make it idle at a richer, more stable, AFR. Allows you to, for the first time, tune in closed loop conditions to maximize drivabily and transient power response.

There's a few more features but these were the ones I was talking about. Currently, we're running into a silly CAS replication issue which we are trying to get to the bottom of. We completely re-designed the way the XEDE reads and replicates thye CAS waveform (made it better). But there is still some artifact that we need to isolate and remove. No biggie. Just takes time.

Are you saying it is not a TD05H comp. housing anymore? Maybe something has changed about the wheels inside, but not the size of the housing.

I wont say it isnt a TD05H housing, but it is different than the '03/'04 models. It is standard on all '05's, not just the MR. I thought I should point that out.

I also know that the compressor wheel is the same 16g6 wheel we all know and love. The CHRA carries the same part number as all others.

Does this mean you won't need to [ecutek] flash the stock ecu to scale for bigger injectors? And about my pil question? =P

Hi Cooter,
The STi doesn't have any pill that needs to be replaced As for bigger injections, you never needed the reflash to do that. The XEDE has injector scaling features built in to it. Always had dawg

Shiv, I LOVE you I've been staring at my CEL light for 6 months hopefully waiting on a test pipe fix. I also can't wait to be able to log knock counts directly through the Xede. Thanks again for all the hard work

Aww son, Seth got me on the reflash deal.

Hopefully I'll be able to install the XEDE early next week (read: I'll have my break-in miles done with)
