When can I send my XEDE in for the V3 Firmware update?

 

Ok, now i know that I am going to get jacked by Noize and a few other member but I have to do it. I remeber a few weeks back when Noize got onto a guy for asking when the V3 would come out, the guy would keep bumping every few minutes until he got a post. Im waiting for the V3 patiently but how come everyone else gets the V3? I just read a post where a guy sent in his Xede to the guys to get his V3 firmware. I have been patient.

whats the version that should be in our xede's at the moment? I hooked mine up last night, and one thing said 1.6 something, but another part said build version3.1

 

Just get it done right however long it takes. I dont want some jacked up piece of firmware just because people are in a rush to get it.

 

I have v1.7. Received it about a month and a half ago.

 

I'll wait as long it takes for them to get the kickass logging capabilities right.

I am waiting too. I know how hard it can be to write a strong stable software. just keep us updated.

That's the easy part. It's been working for the past 6 months The tough part is that the Crank Angle Sensor replication process was completely revamped with V3. Right down to the basic code. This was to provide a more accurate replication. Of course, with every 10 improvements, there is one glitch that needs to be solved. In this case, it is will the factory OBD-II diagnostics picking up something that we haven't been able to find ourself. Just a matter of time though....

It sounds like it is worth the wait. I'm really looking forward to the "Bugs Ironed Out" version. = 0)

 

i just want some track time before the end of the year. i will wait as long as it takes for the v3 though, no sense in having to send it right back in a couple weeks.
