Not a Penguin or how I learned to love 21 psi
OK, so the other day I get home and there’s this box on the porch and it’s just the right size to be this stuffed penguin I ordered for my girlfriend (it’s a joke, she never turns on the heater and her house is like Antarctica). I carry the box into the kitchen thinking that it’s a pretty hefty stuffed penguin, when I finally look at the label and darned if ain’t my XEDE and cam gears! The XEDE install went great, it took 4 minutes and 23 seconds, just like they said or at least that’s how long it took to read the instructions. It was more like an hour and 45 minutes to install and that includes down loading and installing the software. One hour was spent trying to figure out which green wire was the right one, while squinting at a black and white printout under flashlight. The pill removal was a real pita, but I managed to work it out by hand, although my fingers were still sore the next day. I had no problems with software or loading a map. The test-drive revealed a lot of new power. Not only does it pull harder, but you can also feel the increase in the area under the curve. It holds 21 psi of boost with the 91 oct 0+ map loaded. I’m watching the boost gauge while accelerating … 21 … 21 … 21 … oops I’m doing 110 mph on the freeway on ramp! Thanks Shiv and everyone at Vishnu, great product. Let’s see if I get 1 mile per gallon better fuel economy with the XEDE, then it should pay for itself in about 73,524 miles or 4 minutes and 23 seconds.
OK, so I forgot it was really two penguins ..... must have been too many Grateful Dead concerts back in my Berkeley days....
I really like being able to switch between maps - a great function - although there may be a problem with your '0+downpipe93Oct' map, it crashes Xupdate everytime I try to upload it into XEDE. I made some 93 oct using xylene and loaded 'stage 1 93oct' map and it pulls really hard. UPS just delivered the belt tensioner tool, so I will get the darn gears installed and really have a big
Keep up the good work!

Shouldn't you be using Xmap?
Xupdate is the old program, Xmap is the latest, full featured software...
Also, if Xmap would run on Linux, that picture would be PERFECT!!

Now, when you get a chance, try out the Stg 1 map. Even if you're running a 0+. We've had good luck with that...
