Exclamation very n00b question, but please answer

i'm gettin an evo 8 in december, trading in my 350z for evo , and i do plan to do the xede the stage 0 ?

basically can you give me instructions on how the whole process works?

i disconnect my ecu and ship it to vishnu...then they add the xede to it and tune it?

can you explain what they do to it...

and after that i get my ecu w/ the xede connected onto it? and i reconnect it into my car , and thats all i have to do, no tuning myself

and will there be a significant difference, and keeping everything stock except buying a greddy type s bov

If you're looking for an Xflash you take out your ECU and send it to them, they tweak it and send it back to you and you're done. If you want an XEDE you buy one from them, they pre-program it, send it to you, and you do the simple install yourself. With the Xflash your car is down for a couple days, with the XEDE it's only down for as long as it takes you to install it.

how long does it take to install the xede?

and is it reliable? sending the ecu to vishnu and getting it back w/ xede and installing it in your car and having everything work good and fine, and supposedly better?

were there any driveability issues, some ecu code errors?

and how much whp gain say w/ xede tuned with a evo with only a catback exhaust

if i say i have like an hks catback exhaust, will they tune the xede to fit that mod , i mean i don't know if its that realiable if they are just tuning the xede WITHOUT my car there and just playing with my ecu, one thing that may have worked with another evo, may not work with mine?

idk answers please

You don't need to send the ECU to Vishnu, just order the Xede, they send it to you and you plug it in. That's the beauty of it, it couldn't get much easier.

so after you plug it into your ecu, you don't have to do anything right? just drive and test out what the guys at vishnu did right?

You have to take a little brass pill out of one of your boost lines.. This is simple, but a pain.

If you look at the install instructions on Vishnu's website it should be pretty clear what you have to do.
