94 map and 100 octane.. help / hurt ?

94 map and 100 octane.. help / hurt ?
My Evo is stock other than an Xede with a 94 map. Can it help to run 100 octane? or is the Xede only meant to run on 94 for timing issues or does it not matter at all? Thanks...
