You could still be seeing 22psi of boost with the wrong wire pulled out. That would be because you are still running the factory boost control system with the pill removed. To see if you hooked up your boost control wires correctly, zero out your boost table and see if boost falls to 10-13psi. If it does, you extracted the correct light green wire. But this does rule out that you inserted the other wire into the same slot the light green wire came from. If you put it in the wrong slot, you will throw a wastegate CEL.

Well lucky number seven and ITS BACK!!! I dont know if there is a bad connection of what. And yes twice before the unit flashed red or yellow and the boost was in the teens. So I definately got the right wire. We did have to cut and solder the wire cause we could not get the wire out of the slot could this do it???Thanks Bob

Question: When u remove the pill from the line, do you just plug that line back in??? I noticed that passive boost thing and that should only be for the 05 correct??
thanks

Shiv & Co....

Menty's problem is this...

The XEDE IS controlling boost properly.

The ECU is not getting a "dummy BCS" signal from the XEDE.

He had a problem removing the green wire from the ECU plug, so instead of removing it, he cut it and soldered the corresponding ends to the wires on the XEDE, so his connections are good.

He did however go at that ECU plug pretty good with a small screwdriver trying to get the terminal out before going the cut/solder route. We theorized that he could have bent the terminal inside the ECU plug and is not getting a connection tripping the P0243 code. I told him to make sure that terminal was ok.

He did and he is still getting the code, is it possible that he has a bad XEDE harness???

BUMP...

Now Im getting this problem. I got it once with the Xede connected and now once with the Xede removed.

I removed the Xede to send it in (for a different firmware problem) and I get the code WITHOUT the xede installed. I will go verify that I put the green wire back in the correct place.

nobullevovii: Did you figure it out??
