Shiv ended up putting it on the dyno and spent a considerable amount of time generating baselines, then pulls with the pill, then finally pulls with pill removed. In between the dyno pulls, the car was allowed to cool down.

BASELINE: ~ 208 bhp.

WITH PILL: ~ ~220 bhp.

WITHOUT PILL/ FINAL TUNE: ~ 230 bhp.

Then....I went for a hot lap with Shiv.

XEDE: $885

TUNING (1/2 PRICE): $100

BURGER KING CHICKEN SANDWICH MEAL: $5.16

HOTLAP with Shiv while holding empty Burger King cup to pee into...: PRICELESS

The hotlap was definitely the best part of the day for me along with the camraderie of fellow EVO owners, especially the guys that came to hang out for a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Wilson: Nice to meet you!
Matt: Did you spring for an Xflash or XEDE?
Joe: Didn't get a chance to say goodbye...
Alex, Nick, Mike: Any updates on the Sti XEDE?
Shiv: Thanks for the tune and ride!
Dustin: Are you SURE I don't get to keep the programmer/interface thingy? hahaha

I look forward to meeting many more of the EVO community!

Eddie J.
Nice meeting you too!

Bet you will get the stage 1 + in no time!

Damn you Eddie! haha! What started out as a quick trip to Vishnu to check it out for a half- hour ended up being an all-day horsepower-fest with me throwing down for a Shiv-tuned Xflash at about 7pm! Of course, the 214 baseline followed by the 235 Shiv allowed me to have after somewhat forgiving me for having an AEM Intake more than made up for it!

Seriously though, it was an awesome day and great to meet everyone!

Matt,
I thought you were living vicariously through MY credit card. I guess you got some airline miles yourself, eh?

Eddie.

Hey guys (especially Wilson),
Can you explain to me the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 1+? I know and have read on Vishnu's site about Stage 1 cars...

Can you elaborate what makes a Stage 1+ car?

Thanks!

Eddie.

I was told by both Nick and dustin that the difference between stage 1 and 1+ is very noticeable. I cannot wait for my 1+ install and tuning on Saturday!!
