Another dyno... Stg1+base maps

O3 Evo Car is pig rich... mods: xede, wall 255 , fujit. DP, test pipe, greddy ex, HKS 264/272 -3/-1, stock paper filter and everything else. This was on 100oct did not do 93, but my wag is 15whp less. This puts some perspective on Farmerdan's numbers!

hey Jorge it was good to meet you saturday thanks for coming up. i think dan's numbers are so high b/c he has the 10.5, o2 housing, manifold, injen intake/fmic/i/c piping and IIRC he adjusted his maps. i too am envious of his power and i'm custom tuned i only make 320 on fis' dyno.

Good Results

hey Jorge,

Did the test pipe and cat back make a huge difference from when I drove your car? Since your car put this much power down on a mustang dyno, it is definitely healthy. I figured since my car was not that much off (I changed the timing after that and it is now slightly better), the dyno in houston must show lower numbers. I don't thinl it is possible for your car to be at 329 and mine at 285 and feel that close? Good results though. I am hoping to buy a turbo kit later next year to get close to 400 without giving up bottom end. That's my goal. Talk to you soon,

Sigfrid

Vincent, the pleasure was mine, I enjoyed the trip although short there will always be a next time. Dan's car has an awesome setup, plus he's got all the engine monitoring gauges to make safe changes. Looks by the results it all payed off!

From what I understand the FIS Dyno reads very close to a Alamo's Dynojet.
The test pipe and catback did make a very noticeable difference maybe 20-25whp. I also changed the cams to -3/-1 from -4/-1 I had from when you drove it.

But did Sigfrid drive it with the 100 octane or 93? That has to account for some more ponies.

Sigfried drove it when the car had just a DP, stock cat and stock exhaust.

I know, but he's saying that those two things could account for the difference in your dyno numbers and I'm trying to point out that the different octane should be taken into account as well. I won't rest until we figure out what's wrong with his car.....
