I have a simple toggle switch mounted up under the dash. Easy to get to while driving if you know where it is. I wired it like Andrew described....up is for more...down is for less.

i like the idea of a switch and i've always assumed you could hook up an LED to know if your 'race map' is on or off - i mean, hey, it's not every piggy-back ECU that will switch maps on the fly (with the car running); so why not take advantage of it even if you hardly ever use it?

but i didn't know an 'up/down' type switch would work? they work just fine i guess?

Question

In the installation instructions it says that after connecting the wires, or flipping the switch to switch maps, the light should go orange for a second or two. When I try this, it stays solid green the whole time without even a flicker. Does this indicate a problem?

Do you have a map on each bank? Mine does go from green to orange to green when I plug or un-plug the wires. I verified this 2 times today.
