Shiv, XEDE tech questions

I just have a few questions regarding tuning with the XEDE........
Timing maps:
A positive number in the table is adding or subtracting ignition advance. In other words, if the ECU is set for 8 degrees BTDC and there is a "2" in the table, will the resultant advance be 6 or 10 degrees BTDC?
MAF table:
Is the percentage in the table a scaling factor or an additive factor. For example if "+10%" is this 110% of incoming signal or incoming signal plus 10% of full scale?
Optional water spray: (for use with water/alcohol injection?????)
1. Is it currently active? If so, what is the output signal on the harness? on/off, PWM, etc.
2. Can the output wire just be used as is? Just tap it and configure it in the software?
3. I assume that the signal is likely an open collector output to ground. Is this correct?
3. What current is the output rated for?
4. The water spray configuration has a stage1 and stage 2 configuration but the wiring diagram only has one output on the connector. How does the multiple stage system work?
Finally, I have some questions regarding what I have seen in logging parameters with pocketlogger and your standard 93 octane stage 1 map. The timing seems to dive from 15 degrees to 2 or 3 degrees around 3500 rpm. Is this due to ECU parameters or is this dive knock induced?
