ECU Boost Control Questions
ECU Boost Control Questions
Last winter I had the ECU controlling boost on my '03 Evo and found that there really was never a case that the car over boosted, even on the coldest day (e.g. 0 F or lower). With the Xede controlling boost over the temperature range of 100F to 10 F (to date) maximum boost is vastly different as one would expect given open loop control.
This has me asking "does the Evo's ECU modify its boost map as a function of ambient temperature?"
