Stg 3 30R dyno results and XEDE maps inside

From Today....

91oct and 100oct
Stg 3 (30R)

HP/TQ
BOOST/AFR
91oct XEDE map
100oct XEDE map

NOTE: The mechanical wastegate spring for this application was 15psi instead of the usual 20psi for other Stg 3 cars. This is why the duty cycles in the boost table are 30% higher than other Stg 3s applications.

What makes the dyno4mance dyno read higher? Is it something more than the surrounding temperature conditions?

Seems like even stock evo's read higher.

No theve proven very close, Andrew in GA does have better gas Real 93 oct compared to the diluted even by 91 oct standards of CA.

No not really at all on the street you do have to Drive the car but on off throttle lag is nonexistant the 30R is an outstanding turbo

Ours is pretty close to Vishnus dyno...as David said it is the pump gas #'s that are higher here in Georgia because of the better quality gas
Stock 03's dyno at about 205 - 212 WHP....MR's around 225WHP

Why does the HP drop so much with the 100 oct gas? From 6200 to 7400, it loses 40hp.

But yet, on pump gas, the power curve pretty much holds well.

I could see this happening with the stock turbo, but not with the upgrade. What gives?

It doesnt I think you are looking at the graphs wrong, If you mean why doesnt it keep pulling this car is just a stage1+ with a turbo kit. No intake manifold or headwork, A 35R would pull harder up at the very top

I'm looking at the magenta colored line. It looks like it peaks 395 hp at around 6200, then tapers off to 342HP at about 7800 rpm. Isn't this the 100oct power curve?

With the insight about the lack of headwork, I could see how the stock heads could be choking air flow.
