Been there done that and the car made 460 whp on a dynojet (100 oct) with the plugs gapped at 21. As for trapspeeds 117 mph appears low but Fontucky trapspeeds are usually lower and my bogging off the line hindered my potential for a high trapspeed.FWIW another 460 whp Evo with a GT 35 r only trapped 113 mph on his best run on 110 oct and the monster Evo with over 500 whp ran a bunch of 12 + times at traps ranging from 113 mph to 121 mph. Finally on his 7th pass he did get an 11.8 at 125mph (hearsay). This car was basically a fully built full blown race car on c-16 gas and slicks. Fontana is not the fastest 1320 in the state. Heck with my car misfiring in 1st and 2nd and bettween 6-7000 rpm I was able to trap 117mph at Sac.
Also the monster Evo cured its Misfire by gapping the plugs tighter. A DSM friend told me it was a common cure for misfire and i feel leaving a couple of ponies on the table is a good trade off. I will take your advice and try to widen the gap but IMO my ET and trapspeed was more conditions/driver related than power related. The car can and will do better much like my 1+ did after some trial and error. My Shiv like 60 ft killed my time and trapspeed IMO. With a lil spin and a 1.8 60ft or better = higher trapapeeds and lower ETs. Been there done that with the 1+.
Only if I would of got another run in like i thought. Stupid A-holes only let people with slicks get a last run. One run and done.

Must be some hot super intelligent guy if you are comparing him to me. bTW The monster Evo down here with an AEM tune to 515-550 whp only did 11.8 at 125 mph on c-16 on slicks. Car is fully built and has more upgrades than you and me together. The 11.8 was his 7th and last run as all other runs were in the 12s and some in the 13s at much lower trapspeeds. My one run was proof that my car was running fine. A lil spin and a 1.7-1.8 60 ft would of got me an 11sec et and a higher mph. Bogging a big turbo is a lil different than bogging a lil one. I still feel you jumped ship a lil early but 11.5 and 124 mph trapspeeds on 100 octane did not fit your needs. Good luck with the AEM and hopefully we can all do battle at Sac in the future.

I can't talk trash to Smoggy being that he beat me into the 11s with his smallish turbo that matches other membranes that have disappointed many sober women in the past. Fortunately for Smoggy his small turbo did not have to use alcohol injection to satisfy.
BTW I will be game to continue our grudge match at Sac Raceway in the near future.

FWIW- I thought the "monster EVO" trapped 122.....anyway, that thing is sick and he was having problems shifting the whole time.....couldnt shift fast once RPMs got above ~7500. I believe he was also shifting at ~7500 instead of the 9k redline.
