leif, on the dyno the stock are box work fine. I had the hks rs kit and only gained 2hp. so I would say stay with the stock air box.

Oh, and yes, you can run higher levels of boost safely with 0+ mods, but I would really look into a fuel pump if I were you. Cheap insurance.

You will be fine at 0+ with an xedeflash and no pump although as others have said for $100.00 it wouldn't be bad to install a pump to lay a foundation for further mods ....is your car an 03/04?

Yep my car is an 03. I will probably get the walbaro just to be safe. I've actually had 2 other stock fuel pumps fail in the past for unknown reasons when the car was completely stock (minus a greddy BOV). What kind of boost is safe for a 93 octane stage 0+? Just so I have some sort of reference what to shooot for...and what to avoid.

i'll end up with the pump eventually because my final goal is stage 1+.....once I can "master" that power at the track (road courses) then I'll worry about more power. Hahaha.....with the added power I'm going to need better brakes...i wouldn;t doubt that I gained 10-15 mph on the straight the way this thing is pulling.

Yep... just drop the boost in that range a few points and you'll be fine.
