Check your intercooler hoses, a clamp may be loose. Nothing is scarier than when one of the clamps loosens and a hose gets blown off--you will then see lots of black smoke. I *now* tighten all of the clamps before every event.

My stock evo also has a lot of black smoke when i give her! I was told to check it out. IS THIS NORMAL!

yes, stock these cars run so rich it is rediculous, mitsu had to cover their asses in case John Bozo's girlfriend took the car for a spin and threw in some 87 octane.
