damn nice numbers, starting to think my cat has to go lol also going to look at some race fuel. Well i'll probablly wait, this gives me a year to save up for crazy mods untill Shiv makes his return to Texas.....hmm although its only a 31 hour drive for me to Vishnu.... its about 1/3 of what i did to get to Dallas that could be an option LOL

keep the numbers coming

Just got back to San Antonio, whew! traffic was a b*tch!

Unfortunately, Shiv was unable to tune my alky kit map because the nozzle was leaking. He was able to get 325HP and 300TQ on my Stage1+ even though I was only able to reach 21 lbs of boost because of the leaky nozzle area. I guess I'm going to need to buy a hard upper IC pipe and have a bung welded into it for the braided alky line. Then all I need to do is find someone who can tune it since who knows when Shiv will be able to come back to Texas again. Thanks so much Shiv, it was a pleasure meeting you and watching you work. The car is still smooth as ever, I just wish I would have been able to see what you would have done with the alky kit..... :-(

Hope you come back soon!

Tony

what did y'all have your cam gears set at? I have the equivalent of a stage 1+ and it says pre-set cam gears. Would tuning cam gears be able to get 10whp? I put down 330whp on the same dyno when Turbo Trix was there. So numbers are right around the same, but my came gears are 0'd out right now.

Great numbers guys. Wish I could have come up there. I was busy moving and playing some golf

It was a great weekend, pretty damn successful overall. A lot of people need to give a thanks to Cody for arranging everything. He really uses Mark from Turbo Trix to do his tuning, he just put this together to help the Vishnu crowd out, he had absolutely nothing to gain from it. His car was never even on the dyno, but he was there all day yesterday and today helping people wrench on their cars and fix problems.

Cody and his girlfriend, Vincent (asasin79), Jason (Jason@NTEC), Shiv, myself and my wife all went out Saturday night, and had a great time picking on each other, we will try to upload some pics of s**tfaced Shiv later! It was pretty nice getting out with some of the NTEC guys and Shiv, we had a good time.

I enjoyed meeting all of the new guys this weekend, I think that everyone ended up doing very well overall, especially some of the guys who rolled in there with some serious problems. We got just about everyone straightened out, some required a little bit of work though. As soon as Vincent gets a dump tube to fit on his wastegate I expect that we will see some very nice numbers. I ended up with about 355 whp and 320 ft/lbs torque. Shiv had the TQ up to about 335 but backed it off as it was getting that number off of the boost ramp-up. It is just needless cylinder pressure and it goes to show you that Shiv will tune for for reliability before numbers. Anyway, it was a great weekend and I hope that everyone enjoyed it. If there is enough intrest we might shoot for another Vishnu day in Sept or so if Shiv is up to it. Or if the teenager doesn't wear him out first!

What a blast! Nice to meet everybody, ThanX to Shiv for the awesome tuning and Cody for setting things up. ThanX also to Drew for letting me know about the tuning session. Impressive Evos y'all. I am very pleased with my results:
309hp and 321Ft/lbs on 93 Oct with only a K&N Typhoon and a catted Turboback! I was really surprised at the results. Thanx again to all!

Joey,

Nice numbers, and thanks again to Cody; and to you and Sigfrid for getting my cam gears sorted out. I definately won't be taking my Evo back to a shop anytime soon ... I went out on Sunday and started replacing the tools my wife and three sons have lost over the years. *grumble*grumble*

315wph/300ft-lbs.

And a big thanks to Shiv for his efforts and putting up with us !
