Is there a stock Xede Map?

Just curious if there is a map for Xede that mimics the stock ECU?

Why? Just to make before and after testing easier. This way, one could just switch to a stock map instead of having to disconnect the Xede unit.... and then reconnect it again.

Yep.. that's about right. The only real trick is dialing in the right numbers into the boost table since that is the only table that isn't offset from the stock map. So putting zeros in it, as Jorge T points out, will not yield stock boost output.

Shiv,

How about if boost maps were set to 'Intercept' mode with zeros on the map?

Is that possible?

If if were, and you had the xede operating as a complete pass-through, you'd be in danger of overboosting without that pill, right?

Bump.

The pending question: Is there a way to put the boost table into intercept mode? If not, can we get a map that closely approximates the stock boost curve?

I don't have an answer for you on the the conversion to intercept mode, but you could always plug the boost wire from the factory harness back in. Then the ECU would control boost like when it was stock.

just figure out what about 19.5psi is dropping to like 18psi. then leave it as that.

Quite true. But then you need to replace the boost pill (which you'd have to do with any pass-through method). What I was really looking for is a map with a very stock-like boost curve.

I just talked to david, here's what I have worked out for a stock like map:

1) -0.3 across the board for everything but boost.
2) reattaching stock boost wire, but NOT reinstalling restrictor pill.

Seems good to me. I was thinking that overboosting with stock ecu would be more severe (4-5 psi), but i've been assured it's more like 1psi and should not be a problem unless i'm pushing REALLY hard.
