Exclamation v3

We have a beta version of V3 that has worked quite well on the cars we have tested it on. We can actually post the firmware file on line with instructions on how to update your own xede out of the comfort of your own home. From start to finish, it should take 5-6 minutes. I'm guessing that more than a few would be interested in running it.

However, in order to update your firmware, you will need to put your XEDE into "boot mode". This involves bringing 12v power to one of the pins on the XEDE connector (pin 9 on the black connector.) For this, you will need a special wire to push into the socket. You will need to get this from us. This will be sent out via mail and it will get to you in 2-4 days. By then, I will have the step-by-step guide up here

So, if you want this wire (free of charge of course), please send a PM to Calvin@Vishnu and we'll send it out to you via US mail.

Cheers,
shiv

Nice.

Last I heard the launch control only worked for a single pass, the the xede needed to be power cycled before it could be used again. Is this the case?

I'm guessing he's talking about some part of the drivetrain calling it quits...

bump. for the question about Dyno4mance. I'll be there and would love to have mine done then. I don't have a laptop at this time. So, it would be great if you could just do it then. does it tell the new features of the V3 on your site shiv. or could you give us the run down on what's new. Thanks alot.
