Also, I just wanna give mad props to Vishnu for continuing to provide great support and, most importantly, FREE updates for the XEDE. It seems to me that Shiv could have easily gone the route of charging $99 or more for the V3 upgrade. Looking at the added features, that would have been a more than reasonable rate, which I for one would have gladly paid ... but instead it's available at no charge. Wow.

what kind of new features does the V3 have??

 

Dumb Question: once an Xede is upgraded from V2 to V3, are new maps or map uploading software required or does one still use the same V2 maps and uploading software as before.

this seems to be the millon dollar question. Ever since the vishnu guys post about this. they really haven't said much since. It's killing me. I wanna know what the update consist of. .... to the vishnu guys, but please tell us something.

I just got my V3 done today.. 1 word explains it all... "Smooth"
but I don't know if it's me or not, but my car doesn't crankover as it use to be, it take a few second to get it started after I got the V3.. n e body want to jump in on this?
