I have no clue on how to tune a car so I just want to see if the Xede is what I think it is. With the Xede do I just find which maps that matches with my mods and donwload it? Is it that easy? I am just looking for easy setup. Load and go! Can someone tell me what are the basic things I need to know when using the Xede?

Do you download the map onto your laptop, connect it to the Xede and upload it?

Yes...how you discriped it is basically what you do... but you wont maximize your horsepower that way. Since every car is different that map you download is very conservative and general

To really get some good horsepower #'s you will have to get someone who can tune the xede to custom tune your car.

 

got a few questions

1. For example does a tuner have to be familiar with the Xede in order to tune it or is it a completley new software that he needs to learn? I was hoping most softwares are basically the same thing and should be quite easily for him to figure out how to use it.


2. Whats a 02 eliminator

3. I browsed the maps online(vishnu site) and I dont see the maps they have for my mods. Where can I get more maps for my mods?

you are stage 0+ I believe so you would download that map

I'm not sure how complicated the xede is to tune or if any smart tuner would be able to to it... I recommend you call vishnu and talk to david or shiv (great guys) they will be able to answer all you questions easily
