Xede...can't connect ((

So, I got my newe Xede all installed with no trouble...now i want to upload a map to it! The trouble is, I cant seem to connect to it. I hook up my serial cable to theXede & my laptop, turn on the ignition, launch Xmap (tried XUpdate too) andit wont connect. Pressing the "connect to Xede"button result in a loud beep, and thats about it.
The serial port on comm one I know is working...anything else I plug into it works just fine, but not Xede. Help!

TIA!

Ok, I finally got around to dealing with this again. I went out and picked up a serial to USB adaptor for $15. It worked like a charm.
